Should I get an LLM?

Q: I am writing for guidance as to whether I should go to tax school (L.L.M.). I am looking to create the most opportunity for myself. I am currently finishing a federal clerkship. I will be starting a job with a law firm in a couple weeks that I am not that thrilled about. When I was looking for jobs last fall, they were few and far between (I believe because of the economy).

If I did go to tax school, I would go to the U. of Washington. I could go to a top gun school such as NYU. However, the cost and the extreme competitiveness makes me shy away from it. I am wary about attending Washington because I don't know what type of job I would get leaving there. Another problem is I don't even know if I would enjoy practicing tax law. Please provide some guidance. Thank you.
